shabbos dinner in an hour

I spent most of Friday at an academic conference and so did not arrive at home until an hour before candle lighting.  Nevertheless, I was able to build a decent-sized (for me) dinner.  Here’s what I did:

1) bison/black bean stew- put in the crockpot and turn it on high.  (Note- the bison was already defrosted.  With frozen meat an hour won’t be enough!)

2) put Sfiha (syrian meat pies) in oven. 

3) raw blueberries

4) raw pumpkin puree

5) pan-fry churro dough for a few minutes [actually I left them on the burners too long- a little burned but still edible) for dessert [plus a parve choc. coin or two!]
