shabbos dinner

“Persian salad” from grocery store (pretty similar to Israeli salad I think) w/tomato, romaine lettuce added

Turbot w/coriander sauce

Striped bass w/curry sauce

Spinach/onion pierogies (Golden, no real sophistication there)

Vanilla truffle

Fresh Figs

 

And before Tisha’b’Av I tried to minimize sodium in my last seudah, so I had nothing but fruit (plums, peaches, figs, avocado), salt free corn, and whole wheat matzoh.   Plus lots of water to drink.  I still felt a little thirsty at night, but the day was fine (at least as far as hunger and thirst).
