90 minute shabbos dinner

Because humans start eating meat after the flood, I made this a meat meal:

Because I had an academic conference at school Friday I arrived home only 90 minutes or so before candle lighting, so I had to work with what I had instead of making an elaborate meal.  This is what I had:

smoked eggplant (from jar) with mackerel- didn’t mix too well, eggplant taste too strong (probably would have worked better with fresh)

syrian meat pies

chicken wings (leftover from Shemini Atzeret)

lentils sauteed in olive oil (because at the end of the flood a dove brings an olive leaf to Noah) with some Asian brown sauce

potato bourekas (just because I had some lying around)

banana puree with maple syrup (because I didn’t have anything else parve and sweet lying around)
