Shabbos dinner

Last night I had my first shabbos dinner in my new NYC apartment.  Because I just koshered my kitchen the night before and got furniture a few hrs earlier I didn’t have time for anything too elaborate.

My main course was Saba’s pizza (my favorite) with Trader Joe’s soy sausage.  Why that?  Because the Torah portion mentions the milk/meat prohibition so I wanted one thing related to the portion.

Also: kale with smoked trout (because I found kosher smoked trout at Trader Joe’s)

some sort of yellow melon I found at a Korean market (not that good)

fresh figs

Israeli Elite chocolate with milk cream
